Hello, I’m Can, a mainframe operations and systems specialist based in Adana, Turkey.

I’ve been passionate about technology since childhood—a curiosity for how systems work that directly informs my professional approach today.

I work in IBM Mainframe environments, ensuring the reliable and secure execution of mission-critical workloads by managing batch processes, monitoring production flows on z/OS, coordinating change activities, and responding swiftly to incidents. My core competencies include IMS, Db2, z/OS, REXX, and COBOL; I apply these to automate routine tasks and implement improvements that enhance runtime efficiency and observability. I prioritize transparent communication, rigorous documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, with security, compliance, and data integrity as guiding principles.

Earlier in my career, I contributed to large-scale projects; today, I pursue web development as a hobby, with a focus on server-side work and security updates. I also maintain a strong interest in artificial intelligence—particularly its education and applied aspects—and incorporate it into daily workflows where appropriate.
